Temple Bay and Beach Resort is a spectacular 5 star resort offering deluxe cottages and rooms in the historic Mamallapuram coast. Our stay there was extremely nice, with lots to do, beautiful scenery and support staff. In fact it was a perfect example of package tours South India at its best.

Our room was brilliant and we were so impressed with the attention to detail especially in the complex. The room decor was simple, calm and pleasant, and we have excellent sea views. We are very grateful for the air conditioning in the rooms because it was too hot outside.

For the rest of the complex, the design was well designed and green was enough, even during the hottest time of year. We were very surprised to find that the complex was exactly like it did in the photos I had seen before arriving to find package tours South India. Everything was well maintained and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, however, they respect our privacy.

Temple Bay and Beach Resort is definitely the place to go if you are looking for complete relaxation and tranquility. At night, unwind in the hammocks or sit in chairs, as it appears on your balcony overlooking the sea and listening to the waves. This was a perfect way to end a day very entertaining and fun.

The food at the hotel was of very good quality and there are a lot of dishes on the buffet was always something available that we liked. However, the a la carte menu was limited by what is commonly stuck with the buffet.

If you venture out of the station, then you can take a stroll to explore the ancient ruins of Mamallapuram or get an insight into the art of stone carving in any of the local studios that dot the path. When you feel like doing something a little more relaxed you can swim in the stretch of beach fronting the resort. There are also beach games and catamaran rides, there were a lot of fun and kept us entertained for hours.

Overall we had an amazing time of our trip south India packages in the Temple Bay Beach Resort. Everything was well organized, the staff was friendly and the station and its surroundings were so beautiful that no words can describe. Although it was expensive it was definitely worth it and will definitely return.
